We need to do serious grocery shopping…
Still instant ramen noodles make up a filling brunch for me. These came with a packet of Roast Chicken broth powder. I also added chopped up smoked sausage (first nuked in the microwave).
Krautstrudels in Kansas
Today, we did lunch at Germanfest at Sacred Heart.
The parish worked all week on preparing this home-cooked German meal. I had beef cooked in red wine, noodles and meatballs and Krautstrudels (or bierochs). The foil had a baked pastry stuffed with ground beef, potatoes and cabbage.
Pre-Movie Snacks
We did fries and beer at Red Robin before watching Shrek 3.
Always nice to watch a movie with a slight buzz on.
