I made a Jason’s Deli run for folks in the newsroom. I got a Chicken Panini.
Later, my hubby and I did late drinks and food at Old Chicago. We had a Flying Monkey Beer and a pomoijito. It’s an American version of the Cuban mojito with pommegrante juice.
The chili con queso didn’t have enought ground beef or chili.
For dessert we had the mini version of the Big Cookie, al a mode.
Folks at work can’t imagine me without a cup of coffee.
It wouldn’t be pretty.
According to the waiter at One80 in Westport, the $1 cover charge to get into the bar hopping scene is more for keeping gangbangers out of the area.
It got a little seedy in Westport …but things were nice and chill at One80. Around midnight, I ordered this Oral Fixation with rum, 7-up and rimmed with Pop Rocks.
After my boss asked me to cover the Monday graveyard shift, we went to Paisano’s for heavy food and drinks….all to knock me out for my messed-up sleep schedule. This is fettucini with tomato vodka cream sauce and portebello mushrooms.
