We had some tasty food adventures from Father’s Day.
I introduced my hubby and dad to the Hillcrest Farmers Market.
We also visited Iowa Meat Farms where they have an amazing selection of meat, from rib eye to bison.
Hubby took care of grilling rib eye.
I made Anthony Bourdain’s mutant chorizo and duck quesadillas from his Appetites book.
The market didn’t have duck rilletes, so I used duck foie gras sausages instead. Tasty. My dad made black rice with cuttlefish, inspired by his Barcelona trip.
