Anniversary Wine

Thanks to a relatively new Kansas law, we could take our leftover wine home. This is Duck Pond’s Pinot Grigio from New City Cafe. The waiter places the corked wine in a large baggie along with the receipt and seals it up.
All legal and it’s still tasty!

Our Anniversary Dinner

Fresh Fish in Topeka

My hubby discovered fresh tilapia in Dillons. Yeah! I love watching the translucent fish meat turn opaque in the mix of citrus juices, onions and tomatoes. It’s wonderful as a meal or a snack, wrapped up in a tortilla.
I served this ceviche up with guacamole and salsa paella.
